Voigtlander Nokton 40mm ƒ/1,2 E-mount

Normal prime, designed by Voigtländer for the full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. This focal length pairs nicely with the fast f/1.2 maximum aperture to enable wide-range control over the depth of field, producing very cinematographic, shallow depth-of-field. Such wide aperture benefits photographing in challenging low-light situations.

Along with its ultra-fast aperture, the Nokton's optical design uses two aspherical elements to suppress  aberrations and distortion - resulting in excellent sharpness, clarity, and accurate rendering. The Nokton’s manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 35cm, and the Selective Aperture Control System allows you to de-click the manual aperture ring for smooth, silent exposure adjustment to suit cinematographic use.
